Custom Keepsake Card

Snow Write recently received a request to create a lovely keepsake card for our client’s son - his first birthday.

This is what I came up with!

I think this design would make a lovely children’s birthday party invitation!

Black & White with a SPLASH! of pink

Black and White is a popular event theme due to its timeless appeal. This inspiration collage reflects the classic feel with everything from a black lace wedding cake to Audrey Hepburn’s original black and white dress.  The Snow Write invitation embraced the colour theme in a damask pattern. It wouldn’t be Snow Write without a splash of colour too –subtle pink words were combined with the classic colour palette. A hand tied pink ribbon completes the piece.

Inspiration – Modern Elegance

This inspiration collage was made with dreams of Modern Elegance.
I wanted to emulate a feeling of grace and sophistication but with a fun and modern twist.
All little girls dream of pink on their wedding day and this palette was coupled with a chic black. The traditional look of chandeliers combined with fun and flirty pin stripes created the intended modern elegance. Beautiful and timeless fonts were combined to finish the piece off.

Once upon a time...

Hello there!

And so it begins – Snow Write’s first blog entry. It’s difficult not to feel initially intimidated. There are so many lovely, talented and interesting bloggers out there in the big wide www , what could I possibly have left to talk about?

The purpose of this blog is to inscribe the creative process from pen to paper (or er, keyboard to blogpost!) during the initiation of my darling business <www.snowwrite.com.au> to the world. I will knock on every creative door, discovering inspiration on every corner. Inspiration that will bring fairytale stationery into your hands.

So sit back and relax with a cup of tea and a biscuit. We’re about to get creative.
